This semester has been an incredible journey into the world of IT Risk Management for me, where Ms. Hanim taught me how vital it is for ensuring the security and resilience of information systems. I’ve developed the ability to spot IT risks, including vulnerabilities, threats, and their potential impacts, which are so prevalent in today’s digital landscape. I’ve also explored globally recognized risk management frameworks like COSO ERM and ISO 27001, which provide structured ways to improve governance and compliance. One of the most valuable skills I gained is analyzing risks and applying mitigation strategies to prevent, detect, or correct issues when they arise. Performing risk assessments was another highlight, as I learned to measure risks based on their likelihood and impact to prioritize them effectively. Lastly, I deepened my understanding of how to protect organizational assets against cyber threats, maintain business continuity, and build resilient systems that can handle disruptions. This course has equipped me with practical skills and knowledge to help organizations strengthen their IT governance and security frameworks, and I’m excited to apply these in real-world scenarios. 🚀🚀🚀
